POCONO PINES (Tobyhanna Township) – At a recent meeting, Tobyhanna Township supervisors told the Lake Naomi Club that PennDOT would have the final say on making the Naomi and Woodland Avenues intersection a four-way stop, which would require a traffic study.

Responding to resident safety concerns over the intersection at the North Beach Marina, supervisors said they would work with the Lake Naomi Club to find alternate measures to reduce speed.

Supervisor David Carbone said he would meet with the association manager, Wendi Freeman, to discuss various speed dampening methods, including the possible use of electronic speed warning devices. (BORO Photo)
