Last updated on June 30, 2021

ALBERT H. ECKHART (1939-2021), 82, Mount Pocono, died Saturday, June 26, 2021, at home. He was the loving husband of Corinne (Artz) Eckhart, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in Kunkletown, he was a son of the late Clayton and Bertha (Kresge) Eckhart.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, Albert served as an MP from 1962 through 1967. He later worked as the Dairy Manager and Union Steward for the A&P Grocery Store in Mount Pocono for over 40 years before his retirement. Albert was a strong, hard-working man who loved to spend time with his family. He never missed an opportunity to make a joke or give you a smile, and he will be missed terribly by all who loved him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Susan Eckhart, Mount Pocono and Christine Lutz (Lee), Tobyhanna; two brothers, LeRoy (Pearl), Kunkletown, and Robert (Pauline), Palmerton; four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Reverend Doug Hayes will conduct a prayer service at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment is private.
