Save the dates! BWA presents 2022 activities calendar

Urging residents to “Get Outdoors Poconos and discover the beauty of the Brodhead Watershed!”, the Brodhead Watershed Association has announced free public programs for 2022.

Learn about land conservation and wildlife habitat in the Brodhead and Cherry Creek Watersheds during the following planned excursions:

·       April 16: Glen Run Nature Preserve in Stroud Township (PHLT)

·       May 21: Buck Hill Falls/Jenkins Woods in Barrett Township (BHCF)

·       June 25: Kurmes Preserve in Paradise Township (PHLT)

·       In July: Browns Lake Trail in Barrett Township (PA DCNR)

·       August 20: Snorkeling at Pasold Farm in Barrett Township

·       September 17: Weiss Meadow/Cranberry Bog in Pocono Township (TNC)

Get Outdoors Poconos is administered by Brodhead Watershed Association and supported by a grant from the William Penn Foundation.

Brodhead Watershed Association is a nonprofit environmental organization formed in 1989. BWA is dedicated to protecting and preserving water resources and the environment of the Brodhead Watershed, and the water quality of the Brodhead, Cherry, Marshalls, McMichael, Paradise and Pocono Creeks and their tributaries.
