Overdevelopment is Harming Watershed
APR 29 2022
To the Editor:
Regarding Tobyhanna Supervisors Set To Permit Commercial Resort Development In Conservation Districts
I am a co-owner of property across the Lehigh River at the junction of the Lehigh and the Tobyhanna creek. I have personally witnessed the Toby turn chocolate brown in minutes during a heavy rainstorm.
Obviously due to the destruction of the watershed by overdevelopment. The Kerrick proposal is a complete disregard for the current zoning to preserve this area.
A development is a development, no matter what kind of label you put on it or what word games you want to play.
