Crafters, Growers, & Food Vendors Wanted for Harvest Festival

More crafters, growers, and food vendors are wanted in order to make the Harvest Festival & Craft Fair in Mount Pocono the biggest & best ever! a successful event.

Organizers of the festival said they are looking for those who grow plants and produce to contribute, as well as people with talents in crafting.  The “Farmer’s Market” at the Harvest Fest is also accepting applications from honey, butter, syrup, and other homemade food products.

The event — one of the largest outdoor festivals in Monroe County — is scheduled from 10 am to 5 p, Saturday, September 24, in Downtown Mount Pocono on Pocono Boulevard (route 611, Fork Street, and Fairview Avenue. It is organized by the Mount Pocono Association.

Tom Ford, secretary of the Association, said thousands of people turn out for the event each year.
New at this year’s event will be two special sections – “Artisan’s Alley” for artists, artisans, and crafters; and the “Farmers Market” for growers and producers.  Vendor spaces (10’x10′) in these new sections are being offered this year at only $35 – a $15 discount off the regular vendor space price of $50.

Spaces in the new sections are limited. All participants are being asked to register by August 31 to reserve spaces.
