MOUNT POCONO – Crafters, growers, and food vendors are invited to help make the annual Mount Pocono Community Harvest Festival and Craft Fair an even more successful event in 2022.

Organizers of the festival said they are looking for those who grow plants and produce to contribute, as well as artists and those with a talent for crafting. The event — one of the oldest and largest outdoor festivals in Monroe County  — is scheduled to run from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, September 24, in Mount Pocono, on Pocono Boulevard (route 611), Fairview Avenue, and Fork Street. It is organized by the Mount Pocono Association.

Organizers say thousands of people turn out for the event each year. New for 2022 will be two special sections, the “Farmer’s Market” for people selling homegrown fruits, vegetables, and homemade food products like syrup and honey, as well as flowers, plants, and fresh baked goods, and the “Artisan’s Alley” for artists and talented crafters to offer their work to the discerning shoppers at the Festival. Vendors in “Artisan’s Alley” and the “Farmer’s Market” are being offered discounted vendor space this year.

Those interested in selling their goods should apply on the web at bit.ly/2022HarvFest. Retail and direct sales vendors are also welcome, as are food trucks and beer and wine producers. Space is limited in all categories and participants are urged to register by August 31 to reserve spaces.
